FOOD HYGIENE TRAINING
Food Hygiene Training
From the 1st of January 2006 the new EU Food Hygiene legistlation has been applied across the whole of the UK.
Who has to compy with these new EU regulations? All companies who manufacture food for Human Consumption, may it be private or public sector or profit – none profit making that carry out any stage of the production, processing and distribution of food based products.
What does the Law say? In order to comply with this new law you must be able to demonstate that you process food safely. This can be done by showing how you produce food to HACCP principles and that all staff have the required level of knowledge regarding food hygiene to produce food safely. You must also register your work premises with your local environmental health department.
